Some background info
Psalms
The book of Psalms is a collection of 150 poems (meant to be sung, as prayers and praises to God) and David seems to be the author of a majority of them. In Psalms, we see quite a range of experiences and deep emotions being expressed.
Genesis
Genesis is the first book of the Bible and Moses is generally accepted as the author/compiler. It begins with creation and the first humans in the Garden of Eden, and ends with Abraham's descendants in Egypt.
